Ethos

Glenwood Flooring, was established in Northern Ireland in 1994, as a culmination of over 30 years experience of the directors in hardwood flooring.

We have become a leading company within the market place and can list such projects as London Ark, Rank Xerox Headquarters, Bad Bob's, Convent Garden London, Manchester Airport, Gap, Oxford Street London and the Courtyard Centre, Hereford within our U.K. portfolio.

In Ireland we have installed flooring on a regular basis for such multi-national companies as Next, Laura Ashley, Gap, Habitat and Pizza Express as well as such prestigious contracts as Belfast's Waterfront Hall, Laganside Development Headquarters, Galway Bay Golf & Country Club, Hotel / Apartments, Europa Hotel, Jury's Hotels, Belfast & Limerick, The Four Courts and the new Hewlett Packard Headquarters in Dublin.

We have also established ourselves as consultants and nominated contractors capable of carrying out refurbishments of historical properties, being able to source reclaimed materials similar to those originally used.  Within this category we would list Castlecoole House, Enniskillen – Belfast Castle – Robinson’s Bar and Chelsea Bar in Belfast – Elmfield Castle, County Down – Dean’s Hill House, Armagh and Carrickacunna Castle, Cork.

The quality market is an area in which Glenwood seek to expand.  We are confident that we can offer beneficial advice and service to the end user and specifier alike.  We are able to offer not only the initial installation service but also follow up maintenance support on an ongoing basis.

Glenwood is a small compact company and as such is able to take each project as a personal challenge. We are proficient to advise on the suitability of materials and designs.  The company can offer technology at the forefront of current U.K. thinking including CAD design, CNC machining, and Laser cut bespoke designs, patterns and motefs.

Being based in Northern Ireland, Glenwood has taken the decision not to get involved in the short-term vision of cheap prices being over-riding priority on any contract.  Consequently we are investigating markets throughout Europe for our skills and services and are convinced such markets exist for our company.

As a small company we are flexible and able to consider jobs of all sizes including small repair projects not usually of interest to our competitors.  The larger projects, whether afloat or land based, are also accessible to us and additional skilled labour is available to us when required.
